Services for Counselors and Administrators
Counselors are provided with an online administrative website to generate reports of their students’ results, manage their students’ records, and customize the FOCUS-2 services on their college's FOCUS-2 Main Menu. A secure and confidential data base with an easy to use Menu provides the following services:

• Your College’s Major Areas of Study are automatically inserted in FOCUS-2 and linked to all the occupations contained in FOCUS-2. When your students ask "What can I do with a major in _______?” The results are based on your college's majors. Students can also explore any major at any college as well.
• Reports for Counselors: The FOCUS-2 reports for counselors enable you to:
  • View the complete results of any individual user.
  • Monitor the progress of students to see which modules they have used and frequency of usage.
  • Identify all students that fall into any given Holland Interest Code group so you can notify them about relevant job fairs, internships, guest speakers, employers, volunteer projects, etc.
• Student Self-Registration: Students Self-Register from your college's website to use the system. This eliminates clerical work for the counselors. A notice is automatically emailed to the counselors for each new registration.
• Student Grouping: Counselors can create and give names to groups into which students categorize themselves when they register to use the system. For example, you can categorize students by Year of Graduation, Major Area of Study, Course Name, Instructor’s Name, Visiting High School Senior, Alumni, etc. You can selectively view the results of any group.
  Multiple Administrators: Create multiple administrative accounts for administrators (with full access) or sub-administrators (with limited access to specific groups of students)
• Co-Branding: We insert your college’s name, Logo, and your office’s phone number on all the FOCUS-2 screens.
• Customizing: Counselors can:
  • Customize the optional "Welcome” screen to include any special instructions.
  • Insert your own choice of links to databases for students to search for graduate schools, internships, jobs, etc.
  • Insert into the FOCUS-2 "Events Calendar” notices about the date and time for events such as Guest Speakers, Job Fairs, etc.
