About Us

The Career Dimensions mission is to develop computer-assisted career and education planning systems for use by students and people in career transition. The company was founded in 1987 by Frank J. Minor, PhD., who now serves as our CEO. Prior to that, Dr. Minor held positions of Senior Psychologist at the IBM Corporation HQ in Armonk, NY and Director of Development of Education Systems at the IBM Advanced Systems Development Division. Dr Minor was also a tenured Associate Professor of Human Resource Management, Organization Behavior, and Statistics at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire from 1990 to 1997. Additionally, Dr. Minor held Adjunct Professor positions at Columbia University Teachers College and Pace University.

Career Dimensions has offices in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Our executive staff has membership in the National Association of Colleges & Employers, the National Career Development Association, the American Psychological Association, the Association for Computer-Based Systems for Career Information, the American School Counselors Association, and the National Institute of Certified College Planners.

Career Dimensions has an ongoing research relationship with the Saint Anselm College Meelia Community Services Center. Our joint project provides the Career Dimensions MCP Career & Education Planning System to teenagers in juvenile detention centers, at-risk youth in group homes, and to other teenagers and adults enrolled in community services programs. The objective of our joint project is to develop and implement the best practices possible that most effectively help at-risk persons set career goals and plans that put them on the path to economic self-sufficiency.
